Tucked under the dramatic palisades of the Stags Leap District, right along Silverado Trail sits the newest member to the PlumpJack and CADE family, Odette Estate.
The Stags Leap District’s distinctive soils are famous for imparting unique characteristics to wines—including extraordinary power delivered with delicately articulated structure, varietal aromas and flavors. This strong, feminine personality recalls the charisma of Odette, a woman who appears throughout history, literature and dance. The name “Odette” even shows up in the wine world, at the infamous Paris Wine Tasting of 1976, in which a red wine from Stags Leap District took top honors over the French.
Set on 45 acres, with a total of 36 planted mainly to Cabernet Sauvignon, our Winemaker, Jeff Owens seeks to harness the strong character of the terroir in order to craft wines that are both bold and elegant. We look forward to these first releases from the estate beginning in 2015, and we invite you to join us today for a unique experience tasting wines from some of the area’s finest vineyards.

Adaptation Tasting
This tasting is designed for someone who is seeking wine that represents the Napa Valley as a whole. It is an offering of the current release Adaptation wines, which are sourced from the greater Napa Valley area in a more approachable style and price point.
Anthology Tasting
This tasting is designed for someone who is interested in experiencing a diverse variety of wines produced by our family of wineries and crafted in the unique style of our three coveted winemakers: Aaron Miller of PlumpJack Estate in Oakville, Danielle Cyrot of CADE Estate on Howell Mountain and our very own Odette Estate Winemaker Jeff Owens. The intense differences in the terroir of each vineyard site and the influences each winemaker imparts on the wine will become apparent in this tasting experience.
Estate Tour and Tasting
Please join us for an exclusive current release tasting that offers you a flight of our highest end wines and a look behind the scenes at the creation of our Stags Leap Estate. This select flight focuses on and compares the AVAs of our Odette Estate in Stags Leap, CADE Estate on Howell Mountain and PlumpJack Estate Winery in Oakville, with special attention to the nuances between each appellation. Guests are welcomed at the tasting bar with a splash of refreshing Sauvignon Blanc or Chardonnay and have the opportunity to take a walking tour of the estate at the start of their visit. They are then seated in our Estate Lounge for an elevated tasting experience.
Vineyard View Lunch
Complete your Napa Valley experience with a three-course food & wine pairing in the Estate Lounge on our picturesque Stags Leap property. Each course is expertly paired with our highly coveted wines crafted by Winemaker Jeff Owens. Your visit concludes with an educational walking tour of our organically farmed, sustainable estate featuring 40 acres of CCOF-certified vineyard and our Gold LEED certified winery nestled into the palisades of the famed Stags Leap District AVA.
